 Two Men Killed in Wrong Way Crash on Pearblossom Highway, 133rd Street PEARBLOSSOM, Calif. (Dec. 13, 2021) – Two men died early Saturday in a wrong-way crash on Pearblossom Highway near 133rd Street.

A 21-year-old driver and his 46-year-old passenger both died in the head-one collision, according to the CHP’s Antelope Valley area office.

Grant Molino, 21, of Rancho Cucamonga, and Jason Hernandez, 49, of Victorville, both died in the crash on Pearblossom (138) Highway, according to the coroner’s office.

The crash happened about 3 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11th on state Route 138 at 133rd Street East, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The men were in a 2003 Chevrolet pickup traveling the wrong way in the eastbound No. 1 lane.  The vehicle collided with a 2020 Ford sedan before it overturned during the crash. Police report that both occupants of the pickup truck were not wearing seatbelts.

Meanwhile, the only occupant of the sedan did not report injuries. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
