Highway 269 Collision Results in Minor Injuries in Kings County

AVENAL, Calif. (May 14, 2025) — A minor injury car accident happened Wednesday morning on Skyline Boulevard (SR-269) at Avenal Cutoff Road in Avenal.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 6:47 a.m. on May 14th, in Kings County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Toyota Prius and a white Honda were involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident.

Avenal police and paramedics were on the scene to assist at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed at least one of the vehicles from the highway and investigators are working to determine fault for the car accident on Highway 269 or Skyway Boulevard.
