Two-Vehicle Collision 22 Freeway, Tustin Street in Orange

Traffic Accident on Westbound SR-22 | One Taken to Hospital
Orange, CA (April 16, 2025) – A two-vehicle traffic collision happened Wednesday on the westbound 22 Freeway at the Tustin Street on-ramp, resulting in at least one injury.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. on April 16th and involved a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a silver Acura RDX.
Initially reported as a minor, non-injury accident, the incident was later upgraded to require emergency medical services after at least one party reported injuries.
First responders, including CHP and Station 91 paramedics, were dispatched to the scene. The injured party was reported to be in the silver Acura.
Traffic in the area was impacted while emergency crews attended to the scene and cleared the vehicles from the roadside.
Finally, CHP detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.
