Two-Vehicle Collision 605 Freeway, Valley Boulevard Near Baldwin Park

Traffic Collision on Southbound I-605 Involving Gray Tesla and Ford Mustang

BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (March 5, 2025) – A two-vehicle traffic collision occurred early Wednesday morning on the Interstate 605 Freeway, just north of Valley Blvd in the Baldwin Park area.

The crash, which involved a dark gray Tesla and a gray Ford Mustang, happened in the southbound HOV lane around 5:30 AM on March 5th, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Both vehicles were found in the right shoulder of the freeway, blocking lanes and causing significant delays.

CHP officers responded quickly to the scene, and the right lane was cleared shortly after 8:40 AM.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the collision and both vehicles required tow trucks including the Tesla due to right-side damage.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
