Two-Vehicle Collision Interstate 880 Freeway in Hayward, Alameda County

Minor Injury Crash on the I-880 Freeway Near Jackson Street

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA (June 7, 2024) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the Interstate 880 Freeway at Jackson Street in Hayward on Friday.

As a result, two people suffered minor injuries when the vehicles collided at 11:35 a.m. on June 7, 2024 according to California Highway Patrol Traffic Dispatch.

Both vehicles, including a black Toyota and a grey Audi, were blocking lane one and were moved to the right hand side on the I-880 Freeway.

Paramedics responded to the scene and located two people with complaints of neck pain, but both of them turned down an ambulance.

In response to the Hayward, Alameda County collision, a tow truck from Jack James Tow arrived to assist the two motorists involved in the crash.

Finally, investigators from the CHP station continue to work on the case in order to finalise who is at fault.
