Minor Injury Accident on Interstate 281
ELK GROVE Calif. (July 19, 2024) — A two-vehicle collision happened Friday afternoon on the Interstate 281 freeway in Elk Grove, California.
The traffic accident occurred at around 2:03 p.m. on July 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was a traffic collision between a silver Nissan and a black SUV on the Interstate 281 freeway in Elk Grove at 2:03 p.m. The silver Nissan ended up in the center divide after the accident and was found to have major rear end damage. Both vehicles reported to have minor injuries. Tow trucks arrived on the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from off the highway.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the crash on the Interstate 281 in Elk Grove.
