Two-Vehicle Crash With Minor Injuries Reported at Hillman Street in Tulare
TULARE, Calif. (July 16, 2026) — A two-vehicle traffic crash resulted in minor injuries Thursday morning at the intersection of North Hillman Street and East Oakdale Avenue in Tulare, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was first reported at approximately 7:56 a.m. on July 16th. Initial dispatch information indicated that two vehicles were involved, including a red SUV and a gray Toyota Corolla sedan.
Emergency responders from Tulare County Fire Department were notified and responded to the scene. The collision temporarily blocked both the northbound and southbound left-turn lanes, creating traffic delays as crews worked to assist those involved and clear the roadway.
CHP initially classified the incident as a collision with unknown injuries, but at approximately 8:38 a.m. the status was updated to indicate minor injuries.
The Toyota Corolla required towing from the scene. Both Richard’s Towing and West Coast Towing were contacted during the response, with Richard’s Towing ultimately handling at least one disabled vehicle.
By approximately 8:57 a.m., CHP advised that the incident had been transferred to the Tulare area for continued handling.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and authorities have not released information regarding the identities of those involved or the extent of the reported injuries.
