Two-Vehicle Crash on Auburn Folsom Road, Fuller Drive in Granite Bay

GRANITE BAY, Calif., (May 27, 2026) — A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Auburn Folsom Road and Fuller Drive in the Granite Bay area.
The collision happened on May 27th at approximately 2:03 p.m. near the Cavitt Junior High School. The drivers of a white Lexus RH-450 and a blue Nissan 350Z collided during the busy afterschool pickup time. Both vehicles reportedly ended up on the right-hand side of the road following the incident. The location of the crash is described as being just north of the intersection.
Emergency responders, including law enforcement units, were promptly dispatched to the scene. Specifically, a tow truck request was executed for the blue Nissan 350Z, which sustained major front-end damage. Responding units arrived at the crash site by 2:25 p.m. to manage the situation and ensure the safety of all involved.
It’s unknown how many were injured in the collision; however, there were no serious injuries reported.
The Auburn Police Department is handling the investigation into the cause of the collision. They are urging any witnesses to come forward with information that could assist in understanding the circumstances leading up to the crash.
