Two Injured in Fresno Collision on Clovis Avenue On Ramp
FRESNO, Calif. (July 7, 2026) — Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a crash on the northbound Clovis Avenue on-ramp to westbound Highway 180 in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on July 7th on the loop on-ramp connecting northbound Clovis Avenue to westbound State Route 180.
Initial reports indicated the collision involved a silver Ford Fusion and a white Honda SUV. Dispatch logs later noted that the Ford Fusion sustained rear-end damage and required towing from the scene.
CHP later updated the incident from a crash with emergency responders en route to a minor-injury collision. According to dispatch information, the crash involved two vehicles, and two people were transported to St. Agnes Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Family members were reported to be at the scene.
A tow truck was requested to remove the damaged Ford Fusion, and the Freeway Service Patrol cleared the incident before the CHP officially updated the call.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and no additional information about the injured parties has been released.
