Two-Vehicle Crash Temporarily Closes Mariposa Road in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Dec. 23, 2025) — A two-vehicle collision briefly shut down traffic along Mariposa Road near the entrance to the Victor Villa Community on Monday evening, authorities said.

The crash was reported around 5:12 p.m. on Dec. 22 and involved a four-door Chrysler and a white GMC Denali SUV. Officials said the Chrysler sustained damage to its passenger side, while the Denali suffered front-end damage.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and one individual was transported by ground ambulance for medical evaluation. Information regarding the person’s condition was not immediately released.

Traffic was halted while a tow truck removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway. A Sheriff’s Service Specialist with the Victorville Police Department assisted with traffic control during the cleanup.

Investigators are continuing to determine the cause of the collision.
