Minor Injury Accident on Roberts Lane in Bakersfield

KERN COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 23, 2026) — A minor injury car accident happened Wednesday morning on Roberts Lane and Sequoia Drive in Bakersfield, Kern County.

The two-vehicle crash happened around 11:36 a.m. on Sept. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police were notified by an iPhone crash notification from one of the vehicles.

Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Crash

The CHP report stated a red Toyota Camry sedan and a second vehicle were involved. One vehicle was smoking following the collision, and both vehicles were blocking traffic lanes. Paramedics responded to help those who were injured in the crash, but those injuries were considered minor.

Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to damage from the accident.

The cause of the collision will be determined following the investigation.
