TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif., (Sept. 14, 2026) — A two-vehicle collision occurred Monday on South Avenue, near Illinois Avenue in Corning, Tehama County.

The incident was reported on Sept. 14th at approximately 1:14 p.m. at the location of 25548 to 25575 South Ave, according to the California Highway Patrol. Initial reports indicate a white Ford pickup truck collided with a silver Nissan Altima. The collision prompted an emergency medical response, but it’s unknown how many were injured.

The collision resulted in major front-end damage to the Nissan Altima, and debris was scattered across the westbound lanes, leading to a request for towing service to clear the vehicles.
