Two-Vehicle Crash Winchester Road (SR-79), Simpson Road

WINCHESTER, Calif. (June 27, 2025) — A two-vehicle crash happened Friday morning at Winchester Road (State Route 79) at Simpson Road in the Winchester area.

The traffic accident occurred around 8:36 a.m. on June 27, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Minor Injury Collision on State Route 79 in Winchester

CHP officials reported the drivers of a green Honda or Subaru and a silver Mitsubishi were involved.

Paramedics from CAL Fire responded to help at least one person with complaints of pain. They transported the person to a Menifee hospital for further treatment.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Winchester Road.
