Two Vehicle Rollover Crash on 405 Freeway, Santa Monica Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Aug. 13, 2026) — Two vehicles overturned Thursday morning in a crash on the 405 Freeway near Santa Monica Boulevard in West Los Angeles.
The 7:30 a.m. collision on Aug. 13th led to the closure of several northbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two dark-colored sedans were overturned on their sides next to the far right side of the freeway, partially blocking the No. 6 lane, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help those involved who were injured in the collision, but there are no further details at this time.
Authorities issued a SigAlert to 8:30 a.m. and closed down the northbound Nos. 4, 5, and 6 lanes of the freeway.
Detectives are working to determine liability for the rollover crash on the 405 Freeway.
