Tyrone Hunter Fatal Motorcycle Accident 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

Colton Man ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-215

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Oct. 6, 2023) — Tyrone Dion Hunter, 45, of Colton, died in a motorcycle accident last Monday night on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway in San Bernardino.

The two-vehicle crash occurred around 11:11 p.m. on Oct. 2nd, just north of Inland Center Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and another vehicle collided in the fast lane due to unknown circumstances.

The bike went down in the No. 1 lane and the rider was thrown off the vehicle. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner later identified Tyrone Hunter as the man who died.

The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this time.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the fatal motorcycle accident on the 215 Freeway in San Bernardino.
