Two Trucks Crash at North and Marks Avenues in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2023) — A crash involving a U-Haul truck happened Thursday afternoon at West North Avenue and South Marks Avenue in western Fresno.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 12:46 p.m. on Dec. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a U-Haul truck collided due to unknown circumstances at the Fresno intersection.
Both vehicles went off the road and crashed into a nearby almond orchard, the report said.
One of the driver’s iPhones notified CHP dispatch operators about the crash, but no one was responding and someone in the background stated a person was bleeding.
Paramedics responded to help those injured including at least one person with major injuries, the CHP said.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the Fresno crash on North Avenue.
