U-Haul Truck Crash West 3rd Avenue, June Street in San Bernardino

Traffic Accident June Street and W. 3rd Ave in Muscoy

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (August 7, 2025) — A serious traffic collision Wednesday afternoon involving a U-Haul truck happened at the intersection of June Street and West 3rd Avenue in San Bernardino.

At least two people were injured and trapped inside their vehicles following the crash just after 1:15 p.m. on August 7th between the U-Haul, a gray Acura sedan and possibly a Nissan Altima, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.

Initial reports indicated that the driver of the Acura was stuck inside the vehicle, and another party in a Nissan Altima may have also sustained injuries and was reportedly unresponsive. It’s unclear whether the Nissan was directly involved in the collision or was a third vehicle affected by the impact.

San Bernardino County Fire dispatched two engines, a battalion chief, and multiple AMR ambulances to the scene. Firefighters worked to free the occupants trapped in the vehicles, while CHP shut down traffic in the immediate area to allow emergency crews space to operate.

Two tow trucks, including one with medium-duty capacity, were called to the scene to clear the wreckage.

Authorities have not yet released information on the extent of injuries or whether anyone was transported to the hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
