2-Vehicle Crash in Union City on the I-880 Freeway
UNION CITY, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2022) — A Union City crash happened Friday morning on the northbound Interstate 880 Freeway near the Whipple Road on ramp.
The crash occurred about 11:03 a.m. on August 5th in Alameda County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a silver or teal Toyota Sienna van collided with a silver Lexus sedan due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics with the Alameda County Fire Department responded to help those with injuries, but they were transported before authorities arrived to the scene. The person had complaints of pain following the crash, but the injuries are minor.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
