UPLAND, California (October 19, 2015) — A semi-tractor trailer truck rear-ended a car driven by an Ontario Police Department deputy Monday morning on the westbound Interstate 210 Freeway, just west of Mountain Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 6:04 a.m. in the No. 4 lane of the freeway. The white big rig truck hauling 60,000 pounds reportedly totaled the car in the crash. The deputy told 911 operators his back hurt and he was armed in his vehicle, but refused help from paramedics. The deputy was possibly in his personal vehicle the report said.
Pepe’s Two responded to remove the damaged vehicles.
