1 Hospitalized After Collision on Foothill (210) Freeway Friday
Upland, CA (October 8, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided on the eastbound lanes of the freeway just east of Mountain Avenue. Officials described the automobiles involved in the wreck as a white Dodge pickup truck and a black Toyota Tacoma.
The CHP log mentioned a third vehicle was possibly involved in the mishap.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one car emitting smoke. Firefighters worked extensively to extricate victims trapped in the wreckage. Authorities later confirmed an ambulance transported an injured woman to the hospital for treatment. The name and age of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident in Upland happened.
