UPLAND, California (March 26, 2017) – A child was critically injured in a traffic collision on West 14th Street Sunday afternoon, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident took place about 4 p.m.
As per the article, a statement released by Upland police said that a 6-year-old boy was crossing West 14th Street when he was struck by a vehicle which was headed west at the time.
The young victim was flown a local hospital and was listed in critical condition. His name has not been yet disclosed.
Meanwhile, the police also included that the driver involved was released from the scene. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
