1 Injured in Upland Hit-and-Run Crash on 10 Freeway Near Mountain Avenue
UPLAND, CA (July 13, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash with a Tesla on the 10 Freeway in Upland.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident shortly after 2 p.m.
According to CHP, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Upland. They crashed on the 10 Freeway near Mountain Avenue.
Tesla Involved in Collision
The incident log described the vehicles as a white Tesla, a black SUV and possibly a semi-truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel then found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render help and fled westbound on the 10 Freeway.
The Upland hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
