Truck, Car Crash on 210 Freeway, Campus Ave
UPLAND, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2018) – A semi-tractor trailer reportedly ran over vehicle Friday morning on the eastbound Interstate 210 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported to 911 at 3:52 a.m., just west of Campus Avenue. A man was seen crawling out of the vehicle after the truck accident. Paramedics responded and transported the injured man to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The truck, which was hauling 20,000 pounds of electronics, stopped on the side of the roadway.
Upland Crash Investigation
Police are reviewing the evidence and any witness statements to determine fault. It’s unknown at this time what factors led to the crash. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of the vehicles, skid marks, and gouge marks.
