UPPER LAKE, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2023) — A semi-truck and minivan were involved in a crash on State Highway 20 near the Running Creek Casino in Upper Lake.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 1:17 p.m. on Feb. 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the semi-truck crashed into a ditch and the Chevrolet Astro minivan was blocking the northbound lanes.
A man became trapped inside one of the vehicles following the crash. Paramedics and firefighters responded to help those involved.
Meanwhile, tow trucks were sent to remove both damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Highway 20 in Upper Lake.
