Child Injured in Valencia Pedestrian Crash Near Magic Mountain and McBean
SANTA CLARITA, CA (October 11, 2021) – A child pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash near Magic Mountain and McBean Parkways in Valencia.
According to an article published by the Hometown Station, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the incident at around 6 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the child pedestrian in the Valencia neighborhood. The driver hit the juvenile near the intersection of Magic Mountain and McBean Parkways.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the condition of the wounded party at this time.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the child. Officers forced the area of Magic Mountain and McBean to close following the collision.
The cause of the Valencia pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
