The collision involved two vehicles close to 10:00 p.m. when one driver pulled out in front of the other and caused the crash.
A total of five parties were inside of the cars including two women who needed to be extricated via firefighter personnel as they used the jaws of life to pry the vehicle open.
All five injured parties required transportation to a hospital where they are expected to survive as they incurred moderate injuries.
In a report by Home Town Station, the driver fled but was later located about a half-mile from the scene of the accident. He was identified as Christian Zamora, 31.
Zamora was reportedly pulled out in front of another vehicle, prompting the crash. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing an injury crash.
