Woman Killed in Pomona Freeway Crash
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2022) –Valeria Aguilar, 31, died in a two-vehicle collision on the Pomona 60 Freeway near the Hacienda Boulevard exit in Hacienda Heights.
The collision between the woman’s car and a semi-truck occurred about 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The report did not mention what led up to the collision. However, the woman’s car sustained serious damage in the crash. Paramedics found her unconscious upon their arrival at the scene.
Sadly, despite efforts from emergency crews, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner released her name to the public.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown at this time if the truck driver suffered any injuries in the crash.
Finally, CHP officials say multiple lanes of the Pomona freeway were closed for several hours as they conducted an investigation.
