VALLEJO, California (July 13, 2016) – Several people suffered injuries as a result of a multi-vehicle crash on West Highway 37 at Highway 29, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident occurred today just before 7:00 p.m.
In detail, the CHP logged about five to six vehicles involved in a collision. Some of the identified automobiles at the scene were a black Ford Explorer and a beige sedan.
Further, reports mentioned the crash initially took place on the westbound side, but debris flew across the eastbound lanes, causing a hazard on both stretch of the highway.
The CHP team affirmed a gray Mercedes-Benz sedan traveling on the eastbound sustained vehicle damage as debris crashed through its windshield.
Per KTVU News, several helicopter ambulances landed at the scene and flew several injured parties to Oakland Children’s Hospital and John Muir Medical Center.
The authorities continue to investigate the primary cause of the wreck. As of the moment, no charges have been raised.
