2-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Freeway in Vallejo
VALLEJO, Calif. (Nov. 22, 2024) — A two-vehicle Vallejo car accident happened Friday on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just south of Curtola Parkway or the Interstate 780.
The traffic accident occurred on the westbound I-80 at around 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a blue Kia sedan reportedly rear-ended a silver Ford Mustang sedan near the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person who had minor injuries from the crash on the Interstate 80 Freeway, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to major damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault.
