Truck Versus Car Crash on I-80 Freeway in Vallejo
VALLEJO, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2022) — A Vallejo truck versus car accident happened Monday morning on the eastbound Interstate 80 Freeway near the Redwood Parkway off ramp.
The collision occurred about 4 a.m. on Nov. 7th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A heavy-duty semi-truck reportedly rear-ended a small Honda in the slow lane due to unknown circumstances. The Honda had major rear-end damage following the collision.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.
Police issued a SigAlert, but it was canceled by 6:40 a.m.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
