1 Seriously Injured in Valley Center Crash at Lilac Road and Roadrunner Ridge
VALLEY CENTER, CA (September 18, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Lilac Road and Roadrunner Ridge in Valley Center.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:10 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Valley Center. They crashed at the intersection of West Lilac Road and Roadrunner Ridge.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars as a white van and a Porsche. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the area of Lilac.
Medical personnel then found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Lilac and Roadrunner to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Valley Center crash.
