1 Injured in Crash at Valley Center Road and Old Road Sunday
VALLEY CENTER, CA (September 7, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash at Valley Center Road and Old Road.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck on September 5 shortly after 6 p.m. in the Valley Center area.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Valley Center Road and Old Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a red colored truck and a blue Honda CR-V. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near a park.
They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Palomar Medical Center Poway for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Valley Center and Old roads to shut down following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
