2 Injured in Crash on Valley Center Road Near Ridge Ranch Road
VALLEY CENTER, CA (July 14, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Valley Center Road.
According to an article published by the ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9 a.m. in the Valley Center area.
The incident happened on July 13 when an orange Lamborghini was in the No. 1 lane of southbound Valley Center Road. At the same time, a black BMW M5 was in the No. 2 lane.
For an unknown reason, the two cars collided. The California Highway Patrol said the vehicles crashed and both then rolled over near Ridge Ranch Road.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. The 56-year-old Valley Center man driving the Lamborghini sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took him to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the BMW, a 60-year-old Valley Center man, survived the accident with minor to moderate injuries.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to the hospital for further aid. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Valley Center Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the car crash is still under investigation.
