2-Vehicle Crash Old Castle Road and Castle Crest Drive
VALLEY CENTER, California (May 5, 2021) — A Valley Center crash involving two vehicles happened Wednesday morning at Old Castle Road and Castle Crest Drive.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision at 6:42 a.m. on May 5th. The drivers involved collided at the Valley Center intersection due to undisclosed circumstances, police said. Police did not provide a description of the vehicles involved in the Valley Center crash.
Woman Injured in Valley Center Accident
One of the vehicles struck a power pole and a woman in the vehicle suffered a head injury. Paramedics transported her by ambulance to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for further treatment, the CHP said.
There were no other injuries mentioned in the CHP report. It’s unknown what led up to the two vehicles colliding, but investigators are piecing together evidence to determine fault for the Valley Center crash.
