VALLEY CENTER, California (March 24, 2016) — A driver in a red Ford was allegedly traveling at “high speed” prior to colliding with another motorist Thursday morning at Valley Center and Ridge Ranch roads in north San Diego County, a California Highway Patrol report said.
Police say the driver of a red Ford struck a green Dodge truck about 7:05 a.m. The report also states that the green truck tried to make a U-turn when it was struck by the other driver. There was about 100 feet of garbage on both sides of Valley Center Road that had spilled out of one of the vehicles.
Paramedics responded to help anyone who was hurt and two tow trucks were sent to remove damaged vehicles.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash and will determine whether any charges will be filed and liability.
