VALLEY SPRINGS, California (April 19, 2016) — A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a bicyclist Tuesday morning at California Route 26 and Paloma Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The suspect who hit the bicycle rider was driving a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck with a dog in the vehicle. The driver was last seen traveling towards Valley Springs.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured bicycle rider, but there were no further details provided.
