Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Valley Springs Crash at Highway 12 and Lime Creek Road
CALAVERAS COUNTY, CA (June 1, 2021) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Highway 12 and Lime Creek Road in Valley Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:47 p.m.
CHP said a pickup truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Valley Springs. The two crashed on Highway 12 at the intersection with Lime Creek Road.
Motorcycle vs Car Collision Near Gas Station
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Zippy Mart gas station. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced Highway 12 at Lime Creek to shut down following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the pickup truck sustained any wound or if they stopped after the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Valley Springs crash.
