Valyermo crash Big Pines Ball Flat
1 Seriously Injured in Valyermo Crash at Big Pines Highway and Ball Flat Road
MOJAVE DESERT, CA (January 9, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Big Pines Highway and Ball Flat Road in Valyermo.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 12:49 p.m. in the Mojave Desert.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Valyermo community. They crashed at the intersection of Big Pines Highway and Ball Flat Road.
Multiple Cars Collide
The dispatch described the cars as a black Nissan Frontier, a white Mazda and a gray Toyota Tacoma. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Big Pines and Ball Flat to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Valyermo crash is still under investigation.
