Van Crashes into Canal on Forrester Road, West Ross Road in El Centro
EL CENTRO, Calif. (August 28, 2026) — Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Friday in El Centro at Forrester Road and Ross Road, leaving one person hospitalized.
The traffic accident occurred around 12:50 p.m. on August 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of a red pickup truck and a white van collided due to unknown circumstances. The van reportedly went off the road and into a canal, with its driver trapped in the vehicle.
Paramedics responded and transported at least one injured person to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries from the accident.
Meanwhile, tow trucks came to remove both of the vehicles from the crash scene.
