6 Injured in Van Nuys Crash Near Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 20, 2022) – Several were injured after a crash near Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy Street in Van Nuys.
According to an article published by the FOX 11 News, the accident took place on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 4:30 p.m. near Lake Balboa.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said three vehicles collided in the Van Nuys neighborhood on September 19. The cars crashed near the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Saticoy Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
The incident left a white pickup truck against a wall with its windshield broken. A white van obtained major front damage upon impact while the third car slammed into a wall nearby.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped person from the pickup truck. At least six people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patients to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Balboa and Saticoy to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Van Nuys crash is still under investigation.
