Vanessa Carrango, Esther Espinoza Dead After Car Plunges Down at Moss Landing Harbor
Moss Landing, CA (April 12, 2021) – Two women, Vanessa Carrango and Esther Espinoza, died following a car crash in the area where Dolan Road meets Highway 1.
The KCRA News reported a vehicle occupied by the two women crashed down the water of Moss Landing Harbor. First responders found the four-door 2010 Acura in the water about 50 feet from the shore and submerged upside down.
Per article published online, the unfortunate event took place shortly after 2:50 p.m.
Personnel from North Monterey County Fire joined the CHP; State Parks; and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene and helped in the lengthy recovery operation.

Our sources indicated divers eventually pulled out two bodies from the sunken car. Paramedics sadly pronounced 35-year-old Vanessa Carrango and 28-year-old Esther Monique Espinoza dead at the scene.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash at Moss Landing Harbor is underway.
