Vanessa Salcido, 24, Killed in Accident on North Spruce Street
SANTA ANA (July 22, 2018) – 24-year-old Vanessa Nichole Salcido was killed in a traffic accident on North Spruce Street early Sunday.
According to the Orange County Register, Salcido was riding a skateboard that was being pulled by a vehicle on North Spruce around 1:30 a.m. At some point while being pulled, Salcido either let go or became separated from the vehicle and fell to the ground near the 2400 block of North Spruce resulting in serious injuries, officials said.

Paramedics reportedly transported the skateboarder to UCI Medical Center, where she died from her injuries at 1:59 a.m.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the motorist who was operating the vehicle stayed at the location and cooperated with the investigation.
