Vanney Santos Killed in Possible Hit-and-Run Accident
FRESNO (August 14, 2017) – 49-year-old Vanney Santos was killed in an alleged hit-and-run collision at Millerton and Winchell Cove roads, according to The Fresno Bee.
On Sunday at around 12:30 p.m., the body of Santos was found by police officers near Millerton lake. An investigation was then conducted to determine what caused the victim’s death.
Fresno Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Authorities learned that Santos, a Friant resident, was struck by a vehicle while she was crossing the intersection. Officials believed the suspect continued driving west on Millerton Road following the incident.
No additional details have been disclosed on the hit-and-run driver and the vehicle used.
