Child Hospitalized After Car Crash on Alta Arden Expressway
Sacramento, CA (February 20, 2023) – A juvenile suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred along Alta Arden Expressway, according to FOX40 News.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle plowed into a restaurant in the 2500 block of Alta Arden Expressway in Sacramento. Officials said the driver of the food delivery vehicle mistook the gas pedal for the brake, leading to the crash.
The accident was reported on February 20, Monday, around 8:04 p.m.
Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the people inside the building, and the delivery driver. After the evaluation, medical personnel decided to transport a girl to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the crash that happened on Alta Arden Expressway in Sacramento.
