VENICE (April 11, 2017)- According to NBC Los Angeles, a firefighter with the Marrieta Fire Department in Georgia, has been identified as Ron Herens who was killed by a drunk driver Monday evening.
The incident took place right at around 10:30 p.m. involving a total of three vehicles at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Washington Boulevard in the Marina Del Rey neighborhood community.

The two other men with Herens were both badly injured and transported to local area hospitals. One suffered a broken hip and collarbone while the other had serious contusions and an apparent head injury. Their identities have not been disclosed at this time.
Meanwhile, another vehicle was involved, however, the driver and passenger inside the vehicle were uninjured.
