Pickup, SUV Collide on US 101
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (August 15, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash on the Ventura 101 Freeway happened Thursday morning, just south of Lynn Road in Thousand Oaks.
The collision occurred in northbound lanes at 9:05 a.m. on August 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials said a driver in a yellow Toyota Tundra pickup truck reportedly T-boned a grey Volkswagen SUV on its passenger side due to unknown circumstances.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those injured, but the driver in the VW declined medical transport and it’s unknown if others were hurt.
Tow trucks removed the truck due to major front-end damage and the Volkswagen with major right side damage.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Ventura 101 Freeway crash in Thousand Oaks.
