VENTURA, California (October 8, 2014) – Several drivers were involved in a collision on the southbound US Interstate 101 Freeway between Central Avenue and Ventura Boulevard, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic accident involved at least four drivers including a red Toyota pickup truck that went over the side of the freeway, knocked over a 60-foot section of chain-link fencing and landed on its wheels on Ventura Boulevard. That driver required an ambulance due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Another involved driver is possibly a landscaping truck as debris of this nature was scattered all over the roadway. A third driver involved was described as a Toyota Camry that was badly damaged and required towing.
The Ventura County Fire Department responded to assist those involved in the crash. The Department of Transportation
Police are heading up an investigation into this crash to determine liability.
“Typically when there are multiple drivers involved in a collision there can be multiple drivers liable for the accident,” said Attorney James Johnson. “It makes sense to have an attorney represent you if you are injured in this type of traffic accident.”
