VENTURA, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2023) — A two-vehicle Ventura car accident happened Thursday morning on Highway 101 the the Johnson Drive on ramp.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Hwy 101 about 9:41 a.m. on Feb. 9th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
A woman called 911 to report the crash and told operators a man suffered a serious head injury in the collision. Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department rushed to the scene of the crash between a red Chevrolet Cruze and a white SUV.
They located the injured man with a serious laceration to the head who required an ambulance. They rushed him to the hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks came to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Highway 101 crash in Ventura.
