1 Critical, 1 Injured in Car Crash Near A Lease Canyon Road
VENTURA (June 11, 2018) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision on northbound Highway 101 Monday afternoon, according to Ventura County Star.
At approximately 2 p.m. today, a vehicle reportedly veered off the roadway and landed in a ditch on the highway near A Lease Canyon Road.

Officials said paramedics rescued two victims in the wreck. Primary reports indicated one person was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center, where they were listed in critical condition. Furthermore, the second victim sustained what appeared to be moderate injuries and was transported by land ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the patients, and their conditions at this time remained unknown.
As per the article, the roadway was closed following the incident by the California Highway Patrol to allow the a sheriff’s helicopter to land and receive the patient. The highway was reopened by 2:50 p.m.
