1 Seriously Injured in Ventura Crash Near Telephone Road and Olivas Park Drive
VENTURA, CA (August 20, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Telephone Road and Olivas Park Drive in Ventura.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:41 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Ventura. They crashed near the intersection of Telephone Road and Olivas Park Drive.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
The incident log described the cars as a white Pontiac and a black Corvette. Both vehicles obtained front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Olivas Links golf course. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Telephone and Olivas Park to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Ventura crash is still under investigation.
